A week or so ago, Ana thought about her whereabouts then. She had been in the throes of passion with Michael. The vampire couldn’t help but grin to herself as she opened the roof window ready to descend into the main jewel room below. She’d found another one of her mother’s trinkets on show, a small egg, it was red with jewels around it. She didn’t know if it was one of the important ones, she’d find that out once she had it, but it had been a favourite of her mother’s. The girl dropped into the room and set about her business, trying to keep herself focused on the job and off of memories of Michael in her bed. Without realising it, as she made her way out of the room and back to the roof, she tripped an alarm. “Crap.” She muttered and saw them enter as she left, “Stupid Michael.” She smirked and moved across the roof. She’d been too busy day dreaming about what he’d been doing to her to have her head on the job. It was her own fault/
Ana sighed softly as she watched the guards of the museum whose roof wall she was perched on. Why did they always have to look for her? Couldn’t they just accept that she was gone? She raised an eyebrow as she noticed a car idling over by the back exit, the vampire stepped off the small wall and walked round, hiding to inspect the truck. She narrowed her eyes as she saw it was a truck, a black Mitsubishi Warrior. She reached into her small pouch bag and took out a scouting scope from it. She lined it up and smirked as her heart fluttered, her knight in back shiny four by four goodness. Ana didn’t know why he was there, or how he found her, but she was overly ecstatic that he was there, saving her again from a bunch of goons.
A million thoughts filled her head, she wondered if he’d found the tape cassette and tape player with the Hendrix live recording in it. She also wondered if he had the photo of them still. After the night and morning spent together, before he left, they’d taken a photo with her Polaroid camera, she’d ripped the photo in two and kept her half, the photograph and him, and given him the half with her on it. A niggle at her heart hoped that he’d found the answers he’d been looking for and was there to start their life together. The bad part of that was that she still had Erik looking for her and she couldn’t risk Michael’s life like that. She’d need to tell him, but at least he’d know everything, there would really be no secrets left of hers.
The vampire heard the roof door open and guard whisper, loudly, where they were to search. She smirked and moved to the corner she needed. With one elegant bound she was on the fire escape of the building that sat across from the museum, with another effortless fall, she landed lightly on top of the truck’s back area. She tapped the rear window and smiled warming seeing those eyes she’d been dreaming of. Ana blurred into the front seat and smiled, “Hi.” She breathed and leaned over, the instant her lips touched his it was like she forgot where they were. Kissing him like it had been a year or longer since she’d seen him, not just over a week, she couldn’t help herself. It was like the cave all over again, or her apartment, the want, the need to be close with him. She eventually pulled back from him, her lips hovering over his. She grinned unable to stop herself. Before she could speak Ana’s attention was drawn back to the situation, and a guard yelling to his friend there was a truck. “Crap. Go Michael.” She said as she unravelled herself from him so he could drive properly. “Not that I’m complaining, but what are you doing here?” She asked as he drove them to safety away from the museum, her hand on his arm. Ana frowned a little on seeing his expression. “Michael… are you okay?” She said now a little worried.
