Like a cat, without a care.
Roaming freely through the streets.

Ever since his return from death, Axel had some unfinished business, mainly with 3 people. The first, the sheriff's deputy, Kara. Her life was his, and the glory of taking it from her was taken from him. The 2nd was a pretty young vampire by the name of Caroline. Going up against his former maker in Niklaus Mikaelson seemed like a mistake... Axel was insane, not moronic. So, perhaps, just maybe he would let Caroline be. The last, and easiest of the three unfinished business was Clea Givens. He only met her once, and he never got the chance to free her from her fleshy prison. He looked to wrong that right and he wanted to do it quickly.
His dear poppa had a plan, of course he did, but that didn't mean Axel couldn't have fun in the meantime, so long as he didn't get caught. Being a demon had a bunch of other challenges that he didn't have when he was a hybrid. His father warned him of the dangers of hunters. The thought of a hunter bringing Axel down was one that would have never crossed his mind as a hybrid, but as a demon, hunters were now his mortal enemies. Poppa Azazel had a plan for those hunters, and that wasn't what today was about. Showing his face in Mystic Falls was probably a mistake, but he didn't care, he had to teach her a lesson once and for all. The fly never escapes the spiders web.
Clea probably thought she was safe and sound, her spider dead, squashed by a bigger spider, but being awoken by an even bigger spider in Azazel meant that the spider had a second chance. Watching the girl at her place of employment, he made sure to stay hidden in the shadows, far away from where she was serving her guests. "The itsy bitsy spider climbed up the water spout." He spoke to himself watching her. Finally it was time for the young women to take a break. He followed her outside where he guessed she was getting some fresh air. "Down came the rain and washed the spider out. Out came the sun and dried up all the rain." He said as he got outside, he spotted her standing there and approached her, not showing his face immediately. "And the itsy bitsy spider climbed up the spout again." He said finally, his face entering the light so that she could see it.
Staring a whole through her, a devilish grin entered his facial features. Looking her up and down. "We're here, isn't that right Sister Ericka. Yes, dear, its right, we are here." He spoke to Clea, or was he speaking to himself, or someone else? One could honestly not tell, but the grin on his face told the girl one thing, what his intentions were for her. "Do you remember we? We have changed, went under a metamorphosis of sorts, but do you remember us?" He asked her, that damned smile never leaving his face. "We're here..." He repeated... "Run. Run dear fly. Run for your life." He was now clearly speaking to Clea. Of course he wanted her to run, of course he didn't want it to end to quickly, the hunt was the best part, and watching the meager attempts, the feeble attempts of the fly to flee from the spider gave Axel oh so much enjoyment. At least no one can ever say he didn't warn her.

You could find him in among the pigeons in the square.
But he won't see the sun again for years to come.
He's broken out in love.
