but there's a hope that's waiting for you in the dark you should know you're beautiful just the way you are 708 words .. scare .. clothes ‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗ Tamra was so exhausted. To be honest, she had been exhausted for some time. It has all started after that terrible fire that somehow caught alight in her building at work. She had been so grateful for Scare being there to take her home, or else she may have perished in the fire. It had felt like an eternity till Scare had gotten to her, and then even longer when he had finally rescued her and gotten her to safety. Tamra thought that she was going to die right there and then. Not being able to fully breath was the most scariest thing for her, feeling like her lungs were filling up with smoke, suffocating her to death. Just thinking about it each time made her feel scared and want to just crawl up in a dark corner of the room, and hide from anyone and everyone. This wasn't a normal thing for the bubbly and smart mouthed woman. But lately this was her personality: withdrawn, almost an introvert, and scared to be inside an building larger than a house. Because of her current fear, Tamra had been working from home, rather than attempting to step inside of the new office building for the television station. Her boss had allowed her this privilege, but had suggested that she get some professional help. Help. That wasn't a word that Tamra liked to use, and she just brushed it off, saying that she would look into it. That was almost a year ago now, and still she never went to see a therapist. Tamra felt that she was strong enough to overcome it all on her own. Though there were some doubts these days. Maybe she needed to see someone who specialised in what she was going through, but she was stubborn. The darked hair woman thought that continuing staying at Scare's place was enough to keep her sane. Having a warm body next to her own was going to be enough to keep her grounded. No, that wasn't working either. Nothing was working for her, but she was going to keep trying till she was back to normal. It was another night sleeping in the same bed as Scare. This past week she had been staying at his place every night that she could. Now Tamra wasn't always a needy person, but this was another side effect of the whole trauma that she went through. She had always been an independent and strong woman, but somehow she was reverting to someone who she always made fun of. Tamra was going to be a clingy woman who thought she needed a man for everything. She wondered with this new personality change, whether Scare was sick of her already. Did he think with rescuing her he would end up with someone who was needy all the time? Probably not. If he had been complaining, it wasn't to her face, that was for sure. It had just gone passed two o'clock in the morning, and Tamra's mind was starting off with the nightmares once again. As her mind flashed of the smokes and then the flames near her in the building, Tamra's body started to twitch slightly, her head turning slightly. A slight moan and a frown on her forehead could be heard and seen as the images flashed like it was real in her mind. As the visions from that day continued to play out, Tamra moaned, and she started to say "No... no... no," in her sleep. Without knowing what she was doing in her sleep, her hands started to grip the sheets, starting to really squirm in the sheets. As the visions intensified, tears started to fall from her eyes, her face starting to really squish up, like she was in pain. Then all of a sudden a fireball came towards her in her nightmare, and with that, her eyes flew open, and she sat upright in bed, screaming out loud. All Tamra could feel was her heart racing in her chest, wet tear stains on her face, and head pounding. The screaming stopped after a few seconds, but all she could do was sit there, her chest heaving, and her eyes blind from the darkness of the room. ‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗‗ and you don't have to change a thing, the world could change its heart no scars to your beautiful, we're stars and we're beautiful |
