i know this was my fault but how much should it cost ◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙ The weak grin that she had given slowly disappeared once William responded to what she said about how she only trusted herself. Knowing more about being what she is had made things easier. But with Charlotte's parents just leaving because of what she could do and what she was, and what she would always be had been difficult. William's words held some sort of comfort to her, and hearing each word made her feel like things were going to be okay. At the last few words, Charlotte let out a soft sigh to herself. "Well... I guess not in a round about way the blame wasn't placed on me, but I did feel like I was to blame for them leaving me. I know I have moved on from it, but it still hurts, deep down." It would always hurt as they were her parents. How could parents do that to you? Charlotte felt a little disheartened at what William had said about things, like what she is not being on birth records. She guessed that in all honesty her parents never knew of what she was till it was probably too late or something. In her collection of papers and things that she had left behind, or what her parents had in their family home, was no longer in her possession. For all she knew that they may have been answers amongst it all. "Fair enough. I'm unsure if I would want to run around and tell everyone. I know I can be a big mouth at times, and want to tell people things, but that wouldn't be one of them. The whole Cliff incident didn't end up on my lips all the times I ran into people." The way that William put his on his chest made Charlotte grin just a little. Everything about this vampire made her wish that she had been around in his timeline. She wasn't sure how old he truly was, but everything about him made her think that he was definitely from another century, where she guessed things were much more simple. "I'm glad that it has been you, William, that has helped me through what I have been through. You have been more help than I could have ever asked for." Charlotte hoped that he would continue to help where it was necessary, well, at least until she could find out things on her own. She had to learn more about herself, and her child who was growing at an alarming rate. Charlotte's gaze took in how William was looking now, what with his lips almost giving off a grin of sorts, but not if that made any sense at all. She took the water and took a sip or two while the vampire spoke to her. Charlotte slowly nodded at the part that he said about her reputation not being in any trouble. Though hearing how he spoke of Eric made her slowly hold the glass in her hand. Not wanting to let it go, it was soon moved back to the table. Looking at William, she soon replied, "I'm glad to hear that Eric is honourable. I would hate for him to be someone who would want to get his own way with a woman, then run." What William said was what she wanted to hear right now. Cliff had been everything she could have wanted in a man, but then he was taken from her. Having your heart ripped open and torn apart like that was enough to leave her with not much faith in the male population. It seemed that she was going to regain her faith in them after all, even if the man was not human, but a vampire. Moving on from the talk of her possible new love interest, Charlotte wanted to talk more about what could be done to see why her daughter was growing at such a rapid rate. The answers would probably not be found right this second, but at least she may have something to start off with. Thinking for a moment, Charlotte moved her gaze towards William. "I would like to talk more about Ebony, if that is okay. I am unsure why I am going to ask this, but I am. Was there anything in the report about Cliff and his DNA? Maybe it isn't all me, in regards to Ebony's rapid growth? If it is all me then I need to get going with looking at my family history." Somehow talking about this more made her feel a little more determined and stronger. William was definitely the person to talk about this. ◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙ to make things right? do I have to pay for life? | words: 774 tag: william clothes: click lyrics: human ii/boys ii men muse: lea michele credit: Credit to me Mel_Willow of Caution 2.0 |
