Blood in the breeze
I hope that you remember me

Jenna sat on the bonnet of her car and looked up at the stars over her head. She frowned slightly as she thought about her life since coming home. She wondered if that's where she'd been at peace, up in the sky? She didn't know. Jenna couldn't quite remember what her peace was about though. The vampire was so confused, could she not remember because the peace was fading? Maybe that's how it worked, you got kicked out of peace therefore you forgot it? It didn't seem right, however was it such a bad thing? Jenna remembered the feeling of happy peace, a blissful ignorance almost. Then suddenly she was there, just outside of Mystic Falls back in the place she'd died. It was weird, but Jenna was getting used to it.
As the woman had started to drive home from visiting with a friend who was helping her build the cover she and Liz had set p to explain her 'death', she stopped at the bridge. It featured so heavily in her life she never realised before now. Elena was linked to it and so was Jenna. They all were at some point she guessed. Jenna picked up the bottle of bourbon she had gotten and sipped it as the craving for blood subsided a little bit. She was handling her blood lust well. She was feeling like she could fight it easier than most. Was that due to the peace thing? she didn't know, nor did she really care.
Jenna smiled thinking about Ric. He was in a bind, sure, but she didn't care. She knew she had to stay away from him, she had to live for Elena and Jeremy, but she couldn't help herself. Jenna loved Alaric and she knew that they'd hopefully get through it, all of it. Right? Surely fate wouldn't be so against them that they'd not be together again... Jenna shook her head and drank more of the smooth liqueur inside the bottle.
Since being back she'd reconnected with almost everyone. She was sad to hear that Stefan and Elena had broken up, but she was glad that everyone was happy. She frowned, if only they weren't being hunted so much. She looked at the stars once again and sighed, it was weird, some of her memories from before didn't seem complete. She shook it off, putting it down to the whole dying a million times and being brought back. Jenna had been given a daylight ring, well necklace, by a friend, which was lucky. She liked the sun, she loved the sun, however looking up at the stars she could be convinced that the night was her favourite time. Jenna sat up with a start hearing someone approaching her. She could feel the vampire in her getting annoyed, "Who's there? Come out now." She said and slide off the car carefully and put the alcohol down.
