Blood in the breeze
I hope that you remember me

Jenna sat in the living room after Elena had left to go meet the others. She had invited her now resurrected aunt, but Jenna had another person she had to see again before she went off in town. Not only that, but they had to come up with a story and all sorts about where Jenna had been for the last few years. She looked at her necklace in the mirror. Who knew a simple gem could hand her back a large part of her life back after she was made a vampire. Jenna frowned and wonder what she was now technically? She was a vampire, an undead walked woman... but really she was the undead, undead. After all she'd died as a human to become a vampire and then she died as a vampire. Now? Well now she was back, as a vampire, so a vampire zombie? Jenna laughed to herself and shook her head, sounded like the worst B-movie plot ever.
After meeting up with Elena again, Jenna had grabbed a shower, changed and finally came downstairs to wait on Jeremy. She smiled at the thought of seeing her nephew again. A lot had happened whilst she was dead, but the kids had grown up so much and grown well. With a sigh Jenna felt the pull of sadness come over her. She thought about her death, she remembered Elena saying to her to turn it off, it being her humanity, but Jenna never did. If the woman was going to die, she was going to die as herself, feeling the love and hope she always felt when she was around Jeremy and Elena. The older blonde had then been at peace, complete and utter peace. She'd moved on and was happy, but it was gone. Jenna couldn't pin point where or what happened for that peace, but standing in the Gilbert family home now, she knew that the peace and tranquil feelings of 'being at peace' was long gone and she was back in the land of the living - so to speak.
Luckily Elena and Jeremy had thrown out all of her stuff and she still had clothes and whatnot. Also it helped that the sheriff would be able to help with her current dead status to the town. She would deal with all that over the course of the week. Plus side was that everyone she cared about knew the truth, well almost. Jeremy was next for her to see and she couldn't wait. When she'd first found out about the supernatural and then was turned, it took her a while to adjust, however now she knew what was happening. It was like a new world was opened to her, and her being a vampire just re-enforced that a little. She still hadn't really come to terms with the fact she was now alive (or undead alive) forever. Unless she got staked or whatever, but it was a daunting prospect. Alive forever. Scary thought. However before Jenna could dwell on that thought, her vampire hearing and smell picked up Jeremy, he was home.
The meeting with Jeremy hadn’t been too bad. Yes there was shock and awe, but all in all, it went well and now he knew she was home. She’d made her way to The Grill, she needed to see people, take her mind off of everything else. Already Liz was making noises about her returning, which was good. They’d decided on the crazy ex was after her thing, lucky that. She smiled as she headed into the Grill and sat in what became her and Ric’s seats before she - well before she left. Jenna ordered a beer and sat thinking about everything, what a week - felt like a lifetime. She raised her eyebrow as someone sat near her. “Burger is awesome in here.” She smirked remembering when food was food… and not a good cover.
